I fell hard for photography and never looked back. The long version starts with realizing a camera wasn't just a tool for pretty light, it was a passport into people's real, in-between, unscripted lives. As a lifestyle photographer serving Connecticut and New England, I get to spend my days with couples getting engaged, brides and grooms saying "I do," growing families, and brand new babies who have no idea how loved they already are. I named my business Sully Co. Photography after my family's nickname, "Sully," a name handed down through generations and wrapped up in memories of love, connection and togetherness long before I ever picked up a camera. No matter the session, an engagement, a growing family, a brand new nursery, I'm chasing the same feeling: warmth, a little nostalgia and something worth handing down.

These days life looks like fresh vows, two ridiculous cats named Theodore and Binky, and a husband who has become my favorite subject even though he insists he "doesn't do well" in front of a camera. Johnny and I spend our free time on picnics, hunting down new sushi spots around Connecticut, and watching documentaries we'll debate for days afterward. You can also find me volunteering alongside young moms in my community, which might be my favorite kind of storytelling of all.
